Middle of the night

Millie, in her natural state

Well its late again that this seems to be becoming an unfortunate habitat of mine despite the fact that I am an early bird. Tonights excuse was Enola Holmes, and what a fantastic excuse at that. Ok it might not be the best movie ever but I do love anything to do with the Sherlock realm and feminism. Plus Helena Bohemian Carter and Henry Cavill are always worth watching. Oh and it had Burn Gorman from Torchwood, which was cool. Really it was just too much temptation to resist.

I mentioned that I was fretting a bit as there is really a lot going on and there is still a lot going on as the year rushes to a close but I have chilled a bit. After all fretting really gets me no where. This morning saw me writing a letter to the universe and I started listening to Amanda Palmers’ The art of asking. Really I don’t know how she dose it, asking for anything is a very rare thing for me, it happens sometimes of course but mostly I just keep moving.

On the beadwork front, I am on the last warped square of a gift, its large and will be completely random as I can not turn it into a tree topper as planed, apparently you have to go about it in a completely different manner. If I get the time to make a new gift, it will just become a very random decoration on my year round Christmas tree.

In better news my plain triangular mirrors turn up and there are a lot of them like maybe 150, hopefully. Anyway I am so excited to work with them when I get the chance.

And it is my life long best friends birthday tomorrow, so I shall be dining out yet again.

On the video tutorial front, it became very clear that I need to get a better stand of some kind as the one I have dose not allow me to get enough in the frame as I move my hands a lot while beading. Other than that the whole thing went better than I thought it would, and I do not sound anything like I thought I would on tape.

nighty night, Lou sans cats

Hey there, most people call me Lou and I am a passionate dreamer and creator of funky beaded creations. I dream of having my creations featured in galleries and am working to make that dream a reality. When I am not working or creating I am spending time with family and friends, reading or watching movies.
