So last Thursday my dad brought over a toy wombat thinking that he had missed my birthday. It’s actually next month and he is getting closer to the mark as the years go by. I’d be upset that he can’t remember my birthday but to be honest its a pretty good deal because most of the time I ended up getting two lots of birthday presents from him each year. And it turns out that my housemate and cousin Kea loves wombats and was super keen on claiming this one.
It been busy the last few days; Saturday I spent the morning with my friend Penny doing a craft day and then yesterday was my friend Zoe’s baby shower. I have also been beading and have had a few naps as the heat is rather intense, and it’s only the start of summer. I have also been activity working on scratching off books and movies on my Been there Done that posters. So far out of a hundred of each I have scratched off 32 movies, 38 books and 33 dishes. TBH most of them I’d watched/read/eaten before I even got the posters. If only I could get enough audible credits for my birthday to buy the rest of the listed books. You should see my audible wishlist it is 96 pages long (hahaha 😂) and I have had audible since 2017 and already have 1277 titles, the majority of which have been read. In the almost 3 and a bit years I’ve spent 5 months, 15 days, 19 hours and 39 minutes listening to audio books and most of that time I was also beading. My cousin shakes her head at me because I speed my books up and am currently at 1.8X. But at normal speed I found audio books too slow. they probably sound manic to anyone who is not use to them speed up.
Clearly beading is not my only addiction. On a new note I started an insta art page called @Art_exemplary yesterday and have been working on getting it up and running, it will take a while to get enough followers to really entice people to get featured on the page, but its all about connecting people with art and art with people with out all the BS. No money, no bots and no rubbish. At least that is the goal, hopefully I can get people on board, as it is hard to find a legit art page that isn’t asking for something. It will take some work but, you might have noticed by now that work of one kind or another is really my jam.
