Thursday

Well yesterday I had a double dose of parents having spent the morning with my mum and one of my aunts and then lunch with my dad, as well as a long night at work.

I was also excited to finally after weeks of my followers fluxing in the 1790’s, to hit 1800 followers. It has been amazing to find so many people interested in what I love to make and has honestly kept me going through the tough times and general drudgery of life. I am also inspired by so many of my followers whom I also follow as they are so amazing. I know the amount of followers you have is not the be all and end all but it dose make things easer the more you have so I am hoping to hit 2000 in the next few months. I’m not sure how to entice more people to follow me and keep my current followers but hopefully I shall think up something interesting. You will be seeing some new and hopefully unusual things this year so don’t forget to check in every now and then.

I’m on to the last face of the orange cube and it is going well if slowly. And then it will be onto fixing up the black cube. I don’t have enough black beads to do it all in one go so I’ll most likely do what I can and then keep moving on with other projects. Depending on where my finances are at I’ll try to buy some more black beads to continue on with it in the next few months but I do have other priorities like buying yellow beads for an order and what not. I do love how this stitch looks and what you can do with it but it is so slow, to do and each stitch takes 20 beads. for example the heart below has 660 beads and its only about an inch by an inch and a half of work.

I’ve also been participating in #MyBeadingYear hoasted by the amazing Jean Power. For insight into the lives of some awesome beaders you should check it out on instagram or facebook and spread some love for the talent.

Well thats all for today folks, I’m going to head over to Art Lovers Australia to work on my artist profile and sales pitch.

All the best Lou.
