Ok first sorry for not doing the last few post but I was a bit stressed out and really didn’t have a lot to post anyway.
Today I had my first photo shoot with Coffee & Hops and when I have the photos after the weekend I’ll do a post for you guys. The photo shoot went really well and I’ll hopefully be booking another one soon for more of my sculptures and maybe a few of my baubles.
I’ve been busy making baubles and working on a new project. Pictured to the left… not to worry my beading skills are much better than my drawing skills lol. Still it will really just be a fairly basic tower with some windows and an inner stair case. I’m currently working on the base and first level and have gotten the first step done.
The tower I am working on is the larger grey one. The gold one was my first attempt in basic CRAW stitch but it quickly became unworkable. having learnt my lesson I decided to go row by row adding in the start of the walls and the first step as I went to make it easer than it would be to add in later. It also helps to give me a better idea of the layout as I go. Designing 3d objects is an interesting challenge especially when you really only have 2d designs to work by. Still if it wasn’t a challenge it really wouldn’t be fun.
I’ve been playing around with my yellows so that I can order the right one soon for my bauble order and I am really liking this yellow but will have to play around with it with other colours before I decide.
I’ll also be getting more beads to keep going on the Fibonacci projects and hopeful more beads to continue on with my shapes series.
