Moving on…

Yay the stella Dodecahedron is done and looks grand. I am pleased with the way it turned out.

Also I have exciting news on the job front, I’ve accepted the job I tired out last week and will start full time in two weeks after the school holidays. so I’ll be super busy these two weeks but it will give me a chance to pay my rego and all the other things that need paying atm

I am also super keen not to have such a convoluted timesheet to fill in every two weeks and also to be paid weekly, its been so long. And having regular hours will get rid of a lot of my current stress.

Ok back to beading. I finished my venom ball last night or at least as long as I don’t decide to add to it… we shall see. I do like how it turned out but it is a bit more flexible than I would like. Also I finally brought metal skewers for a project I’ve been thinking of for a while, it might possible include mirrors as well, we shall see.

On Thursday mum took me to the new craft store/ cafe at the leap and she brought as both a sewing case for our bags. It makes finding our needles and things easy to find and I love the clear front that makes it easy to see what I have in it. Way better than using zip lock bags that eventually break after a few uses and can be hard to find in my bag. I also brought some super cute cards, and some drippy, sticky marmalade. it is delish.

Mum and I also had scones and I had tea, while we were there. They weren’t quite as good as aunty Joyce’s scones but nobody’s are and there were some of the best I have tried. The Black Cherry Jam was also great and I feel like I need to find a jar of my own. It must be a popular choice as I got the last of it.

Oh and last but not least

Is this glorious winter star by Tracey Lorraine. mine is missing some of the decorations as I don’t have many bi-cones but it still looks fab. I’m thinking of tweaking the design a little to make it a bit more snowflake like, as I was asked to make a snow flake and this was the closest 3d pattern in the beads I use. Tracey has heaps of stunning patterns and I have a few more of hers in my folder to make eventually and I am sure I will buy more still when I have the chance.

Alright as I have a split day shift I had better get cracking on my beading for the day.
