I hope everyone is enjoying international bead week and has found at least one IBW project that they want to do. the International Patchwork Sculpture now has over 70 members and several people have started making pentagons! I also got the video tutorial up today and I have another one on the way for a basic dodecahedron pot.
The IBW zoom meeting where I did a demo went well and there were over 40 people who dropped in, though because of time zones

Some couldn’t make it.
Now the photos of the bear are because it is cute, and also I made a small crayon and art book to go with it as a gift for one of my old teachers who is an artist. Hopefully she likes it as I haven’t managed to catch up with her yet. I was experimenting with the book and it could have been joined in a better way but it works fine and looks ok so I’m happy enough with it. hum what else? I’ve been thinking about making a super large pentagon, just because. It would be interesting to see how big I could get it.

I have entered my beadwork into some competitions so we shall see how that goes.
On the left is a photo of the little basic pot it is big enough to hold a small pair of scissors, lighters and pencils and things.
hum what else? well the Days for Girls Mackay cent-sale is on this weekend so I will be helping setting that up on Saturday and buying some tickets to help raise money. Over 200 hundred prises have been donated so I might even win something.
well it is Thursday and my dad will be turning up soon for our weekly lunch so I had better finish up.

Hello, Louise!
During International Beading Week, I notice that there was ánother Global Project besides the ones that Prof. Sam Norgard has been launching each year.
Only today did I find the time to search for it.
I wish the International Beading Week page had more information about it, there is only your name, the name of the project and the instructions on how to create a pentagon.
After that, I have browsed your blog and it seems there is a Facebook group for the project. I will join tomorrow. I think it is going to be great fun!
